Holy Trinity- FATHER, SON,
HOLY SPIRIT!!!
ALL OF THE AREAS WE NEED TEACHING
ON IN THE RENEWAL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Foundation:
UNDERSTANDING HOW YOUR SACRAMENTAL BAPTISM IS
DIFFERENT FROM BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit awakens our sacramental
baptism and confirmation. It awakens our minds, our heart our
soul as to what it means to be a child of God. It's
enlightenment because it radiates light. In baptism in the
Holy Spirit we begin to live out our sacramental life of grace we
receive as infants. We experience rebirth of grace, anointing
and enlightenment of God's power and awe.
Commitment:
POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOUR LIFE-SURRENDER
TO THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOUR LIFE.
We have to be committed to Jesus as he is always faithful to
us. We are faithful as we live and experience the gospel. The
enlightenment and grace and new vision you see in your life from
the power and surrender to the Holy Spirit.
LIFE IN THE SPIRIT SEMINAR, RELEASE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND
RELEASE OF THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
We share experiences and learn with each other about different
aspects in living as Jesus lived in different talks and
sharing.
TEACHING PRAYER ROOM MINISTRY, TEACHING PEOPLE HOW TO PRAISE
JESUS.
Learn from teaching and experience on how to communicate with
people in using the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND HOW EACH GIFT WORKS FOR YOURSELF
AND THE BODY OF CHRIST.
Gifts of the Holy Spirit: Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel,
Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety and Fear of the Lord. The moral
life of Christians is sustained by these gifts.
James 4:3, 1 Corinthian 12:4-11, John 10-10, 2 Timothy 2:1 &
2
Be careful of motives when you pray. Seek and learn about all
the gifts. Jesus promises us good-new life in him.
Always ask for grace and learn from seasoned prayerful
warriors.
THE NINE MINISTERIAL GIFTS (gifts for
ministry)
Word Gifts-Prophecy, Tongues, and Interpretation of Tongues.
Intellectual Gifts-Wisdom, Knowledge and Discernment of Spirits
Power Gifts- Faith, healing, Miracles, Eph 6:18, 1 Cor 12:4-11
Gifts for ministry- St. Paul talks about in 1 Cor 12- Gifts for
building up yourself and the body of Christ. Gifts for
bringing people into healing and wholeness.
THESE GIFTS FLOW OUT TO OTHER MINISTRIES IN THE PARISH
AND FAMILY.
The gifts for ministry are powerful in other ministries-family,
friends and community.
TEACHING ON SPIRITUAL WARFARE AND PROTECTION.
St. Paul tells us in Ephesians and warns us to draw our strength
from the Lord and his mighty power. For our struggle is not with
flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with
the world rulers of this present darkness with the evil sprits in
the heavens. Eph 6.
JESUS USES PEOPLE WHERE THEY ARE AND HOW THEY ARE.
Jesus needs our availability not our knowledge. Jesus needs
our faithfulness and commitment. The Word of God is
someone and not something. Rooted in scripture, focus has to
be on Jesus. It is the Holy Spirit that transforms.
Authority- helps keep people balanced in ministry. Teachable
Spirit, Docile Spirit. Know who you are in relationship with
Jesus and who's you are.
A teacher must teach and help students to learn and become teachers
themselves to teach others. In that teaching involves being
obedient to learning and taking authority from a teacher.
Persons of forgiveness and prayer warriors. Jesus had such
personal, intimate relationship with his Father in prayer and
everyday living. Hunger for more of Jesus in scripture.
Too many people always want to be spoon fed. You must have
pabulum before you can have solid food. There comes a time in the
Christian Spiritual life that he or she becomes mature in the
spirit and leaves childish ways behind and become like a little
child. People are lazy. Motivation is needed. We
have to become people of vision. Our identity comes from
having an intimate relationship with Jesus. Jesus, open the eyes of
our heart.
LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND PRAYER MEETINGS.
Some are born leaders. Leadership has to be cultivated in a
person by teaching affirming and bringing gifts out of a
person. You have to believe in what you do and who you
are. Prayer meetings build community. Friendship,
leadership learning how to praise and worship Jesus in song.
You can't give what you don't have. Knowing how to praise and
worship. Asking the Holy Spirit to help you to surrender to
his way. To be free of so much structure. Seeking inner
healing for yourself to be set free so you can love others and
yourself and surrender to Jesus.
UNITY AND COMMUNITY- THE NEED FOR EACH OTHER.
The need for each other and each others special gifts. We
meet the Lord in a deeper and more intimate way in getting involved
in people's lives and having our gifts integrated in working with
each other. Really knowing Jesus is alive. A human
person who wants our attention and love. Jesus wants and
desires a relationship with us. Jesus is a living person we
can talk to.
UNDERSTANDING WHO JESUS IS FOR US.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. We are gift- we are
the children of God- his masterpiece-created for good works and
created to know, love and serve Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life-The Eucharist is
Jesus. Jesus in the Eucharist is our strength, our courage,
our hope. Jesus is our healer. By practicing his mercy,
love and forgiveness we learn and are capable of giving mercy, love
and forgiveness. In forgiveness we learn to be patient with
people and their faults and wrongs committed against us and them.
Forgiveness is an act of the will. Forgiveness, Mercy,
Freedom and the cross is the road to spiritual freedom and the road
for Christian living. It is only by this grace that we can
rise again. We are here by grace and gift. With His
grace we rise again to our faults, our limitations and learn to be
patient with ourselves and our sinfulness.
OUR LADY OF GRACE.
Our Lady is Our Lady of Grace, Our Blessed Mother Mary, Our Lady
Mary lived Renewal, Commitment, Trust, and Surrender in her
everyday life. She pondered everything in her heart.
She trusted even when she didn't understand "How can this
be?" She surrendered her will to God.
